All you need is: any Macintosh computer, with a monitor 'n' mouse (no keyboard required!); Finder 6.7 or later; ResEdit, or anyother program that can copy and paste resorces; and of course, Sand Timer Curser its self.

Installing:
First of all let me make the standard resourse edititing disclamer: editing resources can be tons o' fun, not to mention makeing your mac easier to use, but you can also ruin your whole day. World Curser and Sand Timer Curser are easy to install, and I've never had any problems useing it, but I take no responsiblity for anything that happens, even as a direct result of using these files, on your computer.
That said, lets get on with it.
1. Make a copy of both the finder and the Sand Timer Curser file.
2. Open ST in ResEdit. It should have two resources, acur and CURS.
3. Hold down shift and select them both.
4. Select "Copy" from the "Edit" menu.
5. Open Finder Copy.
6. Select the finder's acur and CURS resources.
7. Select paste.
8. Make sure that the ID#'s are correct (Keep the origional ones!) for your version of the finder.
9. Quit ResEdit.
10. Swich the old Finder for the copy that you have modified, and rename it "Finder."
11. Restart your computer.
Try coping a disk or two to get the full effert of the Sand Timer Cursor.
Feel free to distribute this file to your friends (and enemies) and put it on any BBS's. You may not sell it, or charge more than normal down loading fees for it.
